Immediate Cremation – No Service

This service includes:

• Removal of deceased from place of death to the funeral home (within 25 km)
• Professional care of deceased for cremation
• The cremation casket
• The cremation
• Registration of the death with the province of Manitoba
• Preparation of burial permit and certificate of cremation
• Official notification of death to Canada Pension Plan & Old Age Security
• 6 statements of death from the funeral home, extras can be provided at no charge
• Assistance and completion of application form for Canada Pension Death Benefit
• Assistance with completion of Canada Pension Survivors Benefit
• Funeral home will notify Canada Revenue Agency of the death and update records, as it is required by the executor or next of kin
• Order Provincial Death Certificate for family if needed (cost not included)
• Provide estate kit for next of kin to help guide them through their responsibilities  
• Assist family with obituary as well as arrange and place in requested publications (cost of obituary not included)

Viewing

An opportunity for viewing is available before the cremation process occurs, only if requested by the family. There are various options to choose from, please ask one of our licensed funeral directors for guidance, options and prices.
