Yue Ho Lau

August 4, 1913 ? August 15, 2012


After a long and fruitful life, Yue Ho passed away peacefully at the age of 99 years at Concordia Place Personal Care Home.

Born in Toishan, China, she immigrated to Canada in 1968. After raising seven children of her own she kept herself busy looking after her family and her grandchildren with time for a little gardening on the side.

Predeceased by her husband Wing Don and her daughter Linda, she leaves to mourn her passing her sons; Luen Hong and family, Rixin and family, Jack and family, son-in-law William and family, daughters; Helen and family, Wendy and family, Nancy and family and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held Monday, August 20, at 11:00 a.m. with viewing one half hour prior to service in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. followed by a reception.

Interment will take place at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Ave. Winnipeg, MB.

Pallbearers will be Andrew, Colin, David, James, Jason, Melo, Paul and Raymond.

The family would like to thank the kind attentive staff at both Beacon Hill and Concordia Place Personal Care Homes where she spent her final days.
