William Robert (Bob) Carrette
August 30, 1933 – April 9, 2015
It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of William (Bob) Carrette, a loving husband, father, grandfather, great- grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend, on Thursday, April 9, 2015, at the age of 81 years.
Bob is survived by his wife Rita (nee Renaud) of 60 years, his children: Janet (Albert), Susan (Carl), Wendy (Gordon), Karen (Terry), Keith, Peggy-Lyn (Claude), 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Bob was happiest when he made people laugh, he will not be forgotten and he will be greatly missed.
In keeping with Bob’s wishes cremation has taken place and a come and go reception celebrating his life will take place Friday, April 24, 2015, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street.
His ashes will be placed in Prairie Grove Cemetery during a private family gathering, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers if friends so desire, donations in memory of Bob may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
