Obituary for Tyson Scott Dixon

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Tyson Dixon on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at the age of 43 years old.

Tyson was predeceased by his birth mother Marvel Ann, and his grandparents Jack and Iris. Tyson will be lovingly remembered by his father Rod, second mother Debbie, as well as many uncles, aunts and cousins. He will also be sorely missed by his best friend since Junior High Roger Vermette and his family. He was a beloved friend to many and brought joy to those who met him and will be deeply missed.

Tyson was born on April 28, 1978 in Winnipeg, MB. He graduated from Dakota Collegiate in 1996, and later graduated with his Electronics Engineering Technician diploma from Dervry University in 1998. Tyson worked as a technician at MTS for over 18 years, he was an honest, hardworking, and caring person. He also had a great sense of adventure and loved to travel which included some backpacking trips in Europe. He also loved going to baseball games with his father Rod and mother Debbie at Shaw park and playing baseball with the Outlaws for the past eight years.

In keeping with Tyson's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at 2:00 pm, Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street. Friends and family are welcome to share stories and sign the online book of condolences at ejcoutu.ca

In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Tyson may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street.
