It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Therese Johnson at the age 91 years on Monday, February 1, 2021, at Villa Youville, Ste-Anne, MB.
Therese was predeceased by her loving husband Raymond in 2000, her parents, seven siblings, her grandson Rheal, daughter-in-law Heather and her great grandson Aiden.
Left to mourn her passing and cherish wonderful memories of her are her loving children;Roland (Suzanne),Marcel, Dianne(Adrien) Jolicoeur, Suzanne(Hubert) Gagnon, Charles(Murielle), Anita (Gilles) Tetrault, Eugene(Maria), Louise (Roland) Massicotte. Also 21 Grandchildren, 41 Great grandchildren along with two brothers-in-law and five sisters-in-law.
Mom will forever be known for her quiet strength, deep faith and wisdom, which will be a source of inspiration and guidance for many years to cherish. Mom was also recognized for her wonderful smile, she was known for her endearing dimples. Mom took great pleasure in acknowledging her family, they spent countless days and evenings playing cards with family and friends. There was never a moment that went by that Therese wasn’t thinking about someone else, especially her children and family.
A sincere Thank you to the staff at Villa Youville who were able to care for her needs. Soeur Irene Rioux for prayers and visits. We would also like to thank Father Kevin for giving mom her last sacrament.
We love you dearly and will always carry with us the great memories. Until we meet again.
In keeping with mom’s wishes, cremation has taken place and due to restrictions on public gatherings a private service will be held.
