Obituary for Thomas Moore David LeClair

THOMAS MOORE DAVID LECLAIR
November 16, 1961 – November 19, 2021

It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Thomas LeClair, with his sister Jocelyne at his side, on November 19, 2021 at the age of 60 years, after a lengthy illness. His brothers Louis and Daniel tried hard to get there, but sadly Tom passed away before they arrived. Tom passed away in the St. Boniface Hospital, same hospital he was born in, nearly 60 years to the day.

Tom was predeceased by his parents, Frances (nee Poitras) and Lionel LeClair; brother, Charles and sisters, Doreen and Leona.

With great sadness and heavy hearts, Thomas will be sadly missed and remembered by his brother, Louis and wife Kathy, brother Daniel; sister Jocelyne; daughter Nicole, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins friends, and all those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Tom was a very kind person, he would be willing to help anyone in need and would give you the shirt off his back if he had to. He loved rock and roll. Just by listening to a tune, Tom would know the name of the band, the song, and all the members of the band. He was amazing at this!

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at the St. Boniface Hospital for the excellent care and compassion given to Tom while in their care and the awesome support they gave our family, they were great. A very special thank you to the spiritual care worker from the St. Boniface Hospital, the support you provided our family will never be forgotten.

Viewing will be held on Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, 252 Dubuc Street. Interment will follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery, 917 Archibald Street. Due to restrictions on public gatherings, only twenty-five people are allowed to attend.

Pallbearers will be: Louis LeClair, Daniel LeClair, Ryan Gladue, Trevor LeClair, Ray Michel and Denny LeCLair.
