Obituary for Ted Richard "Teddy" Poniatowski

TED (TEDDY) RICHARD PONIATOWSKI


It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ted Poniatowski on Monday, December 8, 2014.


He is survived by his loving daughter, Andrea Sicotte, ex-wife, Marie Sicotte, his sister, Chris Gladys, brother-in-law, Eugene and nieces and nephews.


Ted was born in Kelvington, Saskatchewan on November 22, 1950 and moved to Winnipeg at the age of six years.


He worked for the City of Winnipeg from 1972 until his retirement in 2013. He volunteered his time driving for the elderly for the past year or so.


Cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Monday, December 15, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street.


In lieu of flowers, donations in Ted’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
