Obituary for Taras "Ted" Lang

TARAS (TED) LANG

APRIL 3, 1931 ? JULY 29, 2013


Suddenly, after a brief illness, Ted passed away at the age of 82 years.


Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Delphine (Finny), children; Ted Jr., Linda, Debbie (Darryl), and Jesse; Two grandchildren, Alana and Jerid; brothers Walter and Peter, sister Stella, as well as numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.


Ted was predeceased by his parents, John and Ann, brothers; Bill, Alec, Dan and Ben, and his sister Alice.


Mom and dad were married for 60 years, and raised their family on Mission Street in St. Boniface. Dad loved his Blue Jays, Bombers, and Jets, dad also enjoyed playing cards with the family as well as countless games of Yahtzee. In his younger years dad enjoyed fishing at Caddy Lake and hunting at the Chateau with his brothers-in-law.


In keeping with Ted?s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Wednesday, August 7 at 11:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street. Interment will follow the reception in the Belgian Sacred Heart Cemetery.
