Obituary for Susan Inga Meredith

Susan Inga Meredith

November 26, 1961 – February 15, 2015

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Susan on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 53 years, after battling a lengthy illness.

She leaves behind her long time partner Doug, her mother Martha James, father Glen, her daughter Crystal, brothers Andrew, Paul and Dennis along with many extended family members and friends.

Susan was a special person whose natural beauty and radiant personality endeared her to all people that she knew. Her honesty and trust in human nature was something rare in its innocence that told us she was mostly a kind and gentle person.

She loved animals especially the many cats in her life that brought her so much joy over the years.

Susan loved to read as the many piles of books in her home will testify. Her tastes in music leaned more towards country in recent years while in summer she loved sun tanning with the radio on.

Susan worked in the service industry for different businesses over the years always making an impression on the people whom she met with honest dedication and positive energy.

Taken from us far too soon her strong will and courage reflects dignity in place of despair.

“She will be missed and never forgotten.”

She was loved.

We are immensely grateful to St. Boniface Hospital staff for their dedicated compassionate care of Susan. Thank you and God Bless you.

In keeping with Susan’s wishes cremation has taken place and a reception celebrating her life will take place on Friday, February 20, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street.
