Obituary for Sharon Patricia Deminiac (Thomas)

It is with very heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Sharon Patricia Deminiac on March 5, 2024 in Winnipeg.
She is survived by brothers Terry, Brent and Murray, sons Andre and Daniel, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by parents Edna and Joseph Thomas in 2014 and 2015 respectively.
Sharon was born and raised in Hartney, Manitoba, moving to Winnipeg following graduation. She spent a career in cardiology at St. Boniface Hospital, with nearly 50 years of service, and a lifetime travelling, sewing and raising her two children.
In keeping with Sharon’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Saturday, March 23rd 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street in Winnipeg. A private interment in Hartney, MB. will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation at heartandstroke.ca, or to the charity of your choice.
