It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Robert Syme on Friday, November 21, 2014 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 60 years.
Robert was a very friendly, generous and outgoing person; he shared a passion for both music and mining. He will be sadly missed by his sister Margaret, brother George, best friend Heather Hogarth, as well as many family members and friends.
In keeping with Robert’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held in Friday, December 5, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street. A memorial reception will also be held on Saturday, December 6 at 6:00 p.m. in the ANAF Vets Legion, 3584 Portage Ave.
