Raffaella (Lina)Martino


It is with heavy hearts that the family of Raffaella (Lina) Martino announces her passing after a long battle with cancer, on November 26, 2019, at the age of 69.


Lina will be lovingly remembered by her mother Giovanna Settanni, husband Giovanni and her children, Rosanna, Tony and Janet. Lina will also be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Keira and Dawson, her son-in-law Filipe, by her sisters Rosa, Tina and Luisa and by all her extended family and dear friends. Lina was predeceased by her sister Maria, brother Pasquale, and father Michele Affatato.


Lina was born in Triggiano Bari, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1969. Lina enjoyed music, baking and cooking and passing on these and other family traditions to her children and grandchildren.


Condolences and viewing will commence at 9:00 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2019 in Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Avenue, with Father Sam Argenziano presiding.
