Obituary for Pierre Michel Joseph Desrochers
PIERRE DESROCHERS
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Pierre Desrochers on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 66 years.
Left to cherish Pierre’s memory are; his wife of 39 years, Kim (nee Veale); sons, Alain and Matthew (Jaslyn); siblings, Andre (Diane), Norman (Irène), Della Leclair, Georges (Annette), Angelle (Tim) Rosner, Paulette (Marcel) Marion, Jeannette (Claude) Marcotte, and Michel (Wendy); sister-in-law, Isabelle Desrochers; brother-in-law, Dale Veale, as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Pierre was predeceased by his parents Dominique and Laurence (née Labossière) Desrochers; mother and father-in-law, Clayton and Barbara Veale; brothers, Rhéal and Florent; brother-in-law Jean-Paul Leclair, and sister-in-law Janice Veale.
Pierre worked as a projectionist and loved movies and met Kim at the Starlight Drive-Inn Transcona. Even when he wasn’t working, he was always behind the camera taking pictures of family. He loved to spend time with family and friends laughing and telling stories.
Cremation has taken and due to the restrictions on public gatherings a private memorial mass will be held at St. Alphonsus Church. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Pierre may be made to Diabetes Canada.
