Obituary for Peter Joe Gulakow
It is with deep sorrow and sadness that the family announce the passing of our Father, Grandfather, Son, Brother and friend, Peter Joe Gulakow. He passed away unexpectedly on April 15, 2022 at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 70.
Peter was predeceased by his wife Kathleen, father Constantine and brother Johnny.
He will be survived by his mother (Sophie), son Nick (Cathy), daughter Jessica (Kyle) and his three grandchildren Isabella, Zachary and Arianna, who he was always proud of and anxious to see. He is also survived by his brothers David (Yvonne) and Ken. As well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Peter had a passion for trucks, fishing, antiques and muscle cars. During his retirement he was able to spend his time collecting antiques and scaled die-cast models of trucks and loaders. But most of all, he was able to spend time planning and building his beloved 1967 Chevelle.
In keeping with Peter’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. The family asks that you raise a glass in his memory, he will be missed by many.
