Obituary for Peggy "Lendrum" Leduc

PEGGY TAIT LEDUC (LENDRUM)

We, the family are very sad to announce the sudden passing of Peggy On January 9,2014. With her family by her side she passed away peacefully.

Peggy was born November 23,1951 in Port Arthur, Ontario. She resided in Winnipeg, Manitoba for the last 26 years.

Peggy was the most loving, caring, and generous person you could ever know. When she loved you, she did so with all her heart. Her laughter was one, no one will ever forget. Always there to lend a hand and willing to help anyone in need, and expected nothing in return. She would give you the shirt off her back. She lived a routine lifestyle that included spending her evenings watching game shows with her pal Mel, enjoying balcony beers with friends Ellie and Bert and Bob. Sunday family gatherings which included, large family dinners and beating her brother Johnny and Eva at cards.

Peggy’s memory will live on in the hearts of her daughters Holly Wolfe, Kelly Leduc (Andrew Scheler) and Karen Leduc; sons Norman Jr. and Timmy Leduc. Sister Cookie (Bill) Cella and brother Johhny (Eva) Lendrum. Grandchildren: Bradley Leduc, Filippo Arella, Brittany( Jordon) Payne, Robert and Markus Wolfe. Great-grandchildren: Kaylie, Jordyn and Dustin, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and friends.

Peggy was predeceased by: Parents John and Minnie, brother Jimmy, sisters Marlene and Judy (Bruce). Daughters Tara-Lei Arella and Sheryl Leduc as well as her son-in-law Randy Wolfe.

The family would like to thank the emergency physicians and nursing staff who had Peggy in their care at St. Boniface Hospital.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cancer Care Manitoba.

Peggy we will always love and miss you, forever.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street. A celebration of Peggy’s life will also be held in Thunder Bay at a later date.
