Patricia Gail Skronek


Peacefully on Friday, November 8, 2013, Ms. Patricia Gail Skronek passed away at the St. Norbert Personal Care Home.

She was born on March 17, 1945 in Winnipeg.

Pat was predeceased by her parents, father Peter on October 30, 1972 and by her mother Estelle on December 16, 1994. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving sister Elizabeth-Ann, brother-in-law James and niece Keri Lynn Sansom and her loving brother Robert Skronek, all of Winnipeg. She will be sadly missed by many friends and relatives, here in Manitoba and in British Columbia.

Pat generously devoted her time to the choir and various committees with the St. Vital, Surrey and Langley United Churches.

A special thank you to her companion Jeannine who spent many good times with her while she was in the nursing home.

A thank you to all the staff of the St. Norbert Nursing Home for making Pat comfortable in her stay at the home.

In keeping with Pat?s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at The United Church in Meadowood, 1111 Dakota Street.

Donations in memory of Pat may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or Canadian Diabetes Association.
