NORBERT GUERTIN JR.

March 16, 1941 ? September 29, 2012


It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Norby, a wonderful husband, brother and uncle on Saturday, September 29, 2012, at the Victoria Hospital, at the age of 71 years.


Norby was predeceased by his dad, Norbert Sr., mom, Pearl and sister, Joyce.


Left to mourn his passing are: his wife of 44 years, Wilma, brother, Richard, sister, Pat Main (Ted), niece, Celeste Main, niece, Diane Rand (Scott Shimkus), nephew, David Rand (Rachel) and great-nieces and great-nephews: Tyler, Amber, Jeremy and Jessica, numerous cousins and aunt, Therese.


The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Services for their efforts as well as to our neighbours and friends for all of their kind support.


Norby loved his home and spent a great deal of time there enjoying his ?Word Find? puzzles.


Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, a donation in memory of Norby may be made to a charity of one?s choice.


In keeping with Norby?s wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held on Friday, October 5, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Mary?s Cemetery, 520 Osborne Street with a reception to follow in the Coutu Funeral Home, 680 Archibald Street.
