Obituary for Michael Alan Stewart
MICHAEL ALAN STEWART
Born August 9, 1962, peacefully passed away on June 2, 2022 at St. Boniface Hospital.
He is survived by his three brothers, Bob (Carol) Stewart, Bill Stewart, Pat (Jean) Stewart, three sisters, Penny (Al) Plamondon, Carol Kollay, Maureen (Mike) Davidson, along with nieces and nephews who were able to share some laughs and memories before he left.
Mike loved spending time with family and friends. He had nicknames for everyone and if you didn’t, he would give you one. Mike loved making people laugh. Anyone who knew him, knew he liked his Pepsi and pot. He loved watching movies, football, and hockey, listening to music and bands. He enjoyed going out for breakfast at the Southdale Village Family Restaurant and he loved the staff (like they were family).
He so much appreciated and loved the Palliative Care staff on the 8th Floor of the St. Boniface Hospital and the Radiation team at CancerCare MB.
As per Mike’s wishes, there will be no service or celebration of life.
