Obituary for Melodie Sharon Mikolajczyk (Mikolaczyk)
It is with heavy hearts the family announces the unexpected passing of Melodie on August 17, 2022, at the age of 40.
Melodie is survived by her son Miguel Munoz Jr., her father Mike Mikolajczyk, her sisters Blanche Isfeld (Reid), Nikki B (Jon), Michael Mikolajczyk (Chanelle), Mitchell Mikolajczyk (Crystal), Mick Mikolajczyk.
Melodie was greeted with open arms in heaven by her mother Margaret Isfeld, and the love of her life Miguel Munoz Sr.
Melodie was born on June 14, 1982. During her early years you could always see her with that beautiful smile on her face. Melodie spent her school days at JKM Catholic school. When it came to sports, Melodie was dominating. When she was 4 years old she learned to swim, and by the age of five she was diving off a 5 meter diving board. Melodie could do 96 push-ups (real push ups) when she was seven years old! She was 13 years old when she won a scholarship to the University of Manitoba. When Melodie was in grade 10, at the age of 15, she won 1st place in city championship for running and sprints in School Division #1 at Sargent Rec Centre/ Cindy Klassen. Melodie beat grade 10, 11 and 12 in running and sprints. Melodie was a force to be reckoned with when she set her mind to something there was no stopping her.
Melodie graduated from Churchill high school with honors, she then went onto Robertson College and completed her Diploma in Medical Assistant. Melodie also completed another diploma in Health Care Aid at Red River Collage.
Melodie was a wonderful mother to her son Miguel, whom she loved so much! Like everyone she cared about she would give the shirt off her back if they were in need.
