Obituary for Mathew Raymond Dalman
It is with great sadness the family of Mathew R. Dalman announces his sudden passing on May 24th in the year 2023 at the age of 51. Mathew was predeceased by his loving grandparents, Mike and Yolande(nee Bourbonnais) Genthon.
Mathew was born August 31, 1971 in Winnipeg to father Raymond Ralph Dalman and mother Louise Agnes Genthon. He grew up with a large extended family and immediate family of many including 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Mathew enjoyed life very much and was a very special person with unique character who had a special gift of innocence, deep insight, compassion, humour and honesty. He was always very kind to all animals - especially dogs, which he loved and cared for dearly.
His generosity to others knew no boundaries as he was always ready to help and give without question even when he didn't have for himself.
Mathew was selfless and wise beyond his years. In his later life he chose the path of solitude and isolation as many stoics do when confronted with the trials of life.
We can pay tribute to Mathew's legacy with testament and choose to live life mindfully in honour of his life's teachings as an example to always try our best to understand and treat others including animals with compassion, kindness, respect and an open mind.
Cremation has taken place and funeral mass celebrating his life will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the St. Norbert Roman Catholic Church Parish, 70 St. Pierre Street.
