Margaret Sari

 (nee Horvath)

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Margaret Sari on Monday,November 18, 2019, at the St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 88 years.

Margaret was born in Egervólgy, Hungary on March 15, 1931. She met her husband Louis Sr. in 1952 while working at Magyar Falvona. The two were inseparable and were married on December 26, 1953.

They came to Winnipeg from Hungary in 1957 to start their new life together in Canada. They enjoyed a wonderful life together and celebrated the birth of their son Louis Jr, on June 21, 1963. He was the light of their life, but sadly Louis passed away on March 3, 2019.

Louis Sr. and Margaret shared a glorious 66 years together right up until the end, when a short bout with cancer took her away.

In keeping with the deceased’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a funeral mass will take place on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Hungarian Catholic Church, 371 Burnell Street.
