On January 5, 2023, at Selkirk Regional Health Centre, in the presence of her family, Lynne passed away peacefully at the age of 68.
Born October 24, 1954, she lived a lovely, but too-short life, always welcoming and always ready to lend an ear to a friend. Her love and devotion to family -immediate and extended, was everything to her.
She is survived by her life partner, Harold, with whom she shared many wonderful and happy years. Many would agree that those were the happiest years of her life. She leaves to mourn her passing, her daughters Claire (Roger), and Rachelle (Joel). She will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren Camille, Chloé, Françis and Élise; as well as her three sisters, Liliane, Ida and Laurette (Leo) as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Mom was born in La Rochelle and moved to Winnipeg where she lived and raised her family. She enjoyed many activities, especially bingo, puzzles, knitting, quilting and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to the wonderful staff at Selkirk Regional Health Center for the excellent care and kindness they gave to Lynne during her time there.
A celebration of Lynne’s life will take place on Wednesday, January 18th 2023 at 1:00 pm. at E.J. Coutu & Company Funeral Directors, 680 Archibald Street.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Lynne may be made to the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.
