LYLE KEITH CAIRNS


January 17, 1934 – October 9, 2019


 Lyle passed away peacefully at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg on October 9, 2019.


Lyle was survived by his wife Mary-Ann, children Greg, Andy (Donna), Scott (Sherri), and grandchildren Taylor and Mitchell; his brother, Albert (Phyllis) and sister, Pat Cairns.  He was predeceased by his parents, Jim and Lola Cairns, and his sister, Betty Czinkota.


Lyle was an avid golfer and was there for anyone in need of a helping hand. Lyle spent the majority of his working life with Standard Plumbing and Heating and the Health Sciences Centre.  Lyle was a kind and gentle man and a friend to all. God Bless and Rest in Peace.


In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba (Phone: 204-943-6622, Unit 10-120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 4G2, Website: alzheimer.mb.ca).


Cremation has taken place and a funeral mass celebrating his life will be held on Thursday, October 17 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Vital Parish, 1629 Pembina Highway; reception to follow at Canad Inns, 1824 Pembina Highway.
