LUCY LISKA
(nee LAFRENIERE)
September 19, 1956 – March 7, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lucille after a courageous battle with COPD.
Lucy was strong in spirit, she was generous, a loving and affectionate mother and a devoted and conscientious wife. She loved cooking and watching the Jets on TV and playing with her grandchildren, Ivy, Victoria and Elisabeth. Family came first and it didn’t take much to make her happy – a phone call, a visit, a big hug. Lucy was a very passionate person and always able to see the beauty in the simple things around her.
Her memory will be cherished by her husband of 43 years, Rick and her sons, Ryan and Damion.
She was predeceased by her parents, Jeannette and Paul; her brother, David and sister, Louise (Ron). She is survived by her sisters, Cecille, Michelle, Diane; her brother, Dennis (Wendy), and many nieces and nephews, Wendy, Dusty, Melissa, Chelsea, Chotzy, Dylan, Janel, Ciara, Tylee and Chloe, and also many friends.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
