Louis Laurent Auguste Joseph Tougas
June 17, 1932 - February 6, 2021
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Louis at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 88 years old.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Jocelyne(née Daigneault); daughters, Lynne, Michelle; three Grandchildren, André, Danielle and Dale and one great grandchild Daycen.
Siblings, Marie, Irma and Rachelle (André). Sister in-law Marielle and brother in-law Edgar (Madeleine), Numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his daughter Lise; parents, Léo and Rose Tougas; siblings, Jean, Jeannette, Yvette, Irene, Léon, Léopold.
Dad was a thoughtful, generous and caring soul who lived in Ste. Anne, MB. with his family most of his life. He worked at Federal Pioneer for over 40 years which he would commute to the city every day. He enjoyed many sports and was a natural as a baseball player. His favorite Hockey team was the Montreal Canadians and was able to see them play at Bell MTS Place with his grandchildren, which he enjoyed very much, and that Montreal had won that night. His favorite passion was family gatherings, talk about the good old days, riding his bicycle, fiddling music and above all spending time with the grandchildren and great grandson.
The family would like to thank Dr. Abbott from Seven Oaks Hospital, Dr. Rimmer from DynaCare
and Dr. Kilada from River Park Centre for his continuing care.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
