It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Louis Philippe Olivier, with family by his side, at the Riverview Health Care Centre, Palliative Care Unit, on November 27, 2020.
Louis was predeceased by his parents, Marie-Ange and Philippe Olivier, his sister Lee Champagne, and his son Kevin Olivier. He leaves behind his wife of 53 years Sharon Olivier, daughter LiseAnne (John) Mondor; grandchildren Hillary Boudreau (Carter Boudreau), Jessica Warkentin (Brent Warkentin), Phillip Brodoway and Alex Braun. His great grandchildren Violet and Beckett Warkentin and Sloan Boudreau, His brother Lucien Olivier and many nieces and nephews.
Louis was born and raised in Winnipeg where he met and married Sharon. His passion was trucks and he drove them for a living. Louis fought a long hard battle with cancer. His final days were spent at the Riverview Health Centre in the Palliative Care Unit, where he received the most amazing care from the most amazing nurses. I thank you for taking such good care of my dad.
In keeping with Louis’ wishes, cremation has taken place and due to restrictions on public gatherings a celebration of life will take place in the spring.
