Obituary for Léo Edouard Zaste

LEO EDOUARD ZASTE

It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Léo on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 93 years.

Left to cherish with fond memories are his beloved and devoted wife, Irene, daughter, Simone, son, Denis (Michelle) and three grandchildren, Danielle, Melissa and Chris.

Léo was born in Ste. Rose du Lac and spent his early years on the farm. Léo served his country in the Second World War as a tank driver. Léo worked as a mechanic for many years. He will be remembered as a quiet, gentle, kind man who worked hard all his life and was completely devoted to his family.

Thanks to the nurses and staff of 4E at St. Boniface Hospital for their kind and compassionate care.

In keeping with Léo?s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service will be held in the Coutu Funeral Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of MB, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6 would be greatly appreciated.
