(née WOROTNIAK)

With heavy hearts, the family of Lily announces her passing on Aug 27, 2021, at age 90.
Lil was born Sept 2, 1930, in Bellevue, Alberta and moved to Winnipeg, MB, with her family as a young child.

Lil has many loved ones welcoming her to Heaven including, her beloved daughter Debra Supeene, her Parents Mary and William Worotniak, her husband Leonard Bilton, sisters Anne Androshak, Rose Yurasek and Gladys Penner, five brothers-in-law, sister-in-law and dear friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her son Robby Bilton (Leslie), grandchildren Ryan Supeene and Crystal Supeene (Darby), great-grandson Gareth, along with her six step-grandchildren/great-grandchildren, sister Stephie Gushulak, sister-in-law Mona Bilton and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Lil and Len spent decades as members of the Federal Order of Eagles and the Fort Garry Legion, where Lil was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She loved to dance, play Snooker, Shuffleboard, and volunteer at Bingo. She went to the Manitoba Senior's Championships in Billiards, which had brought her much pride and joy.

Lil worked in Finance for the Government of Manitoba, where she developed many lasting friendships. After 26 years, she retired in 1995 but returned to provide direction and support when needed for years following.

Lil was a classy, vibrant, strong, and capable woman, ahead of her time. She shared a special bond with her sisters and their families. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and gatherings with family and friends.
In keeping with Lil's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private service was held to celebrate her life on Sept 2, 2021. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Canadian Blood Services, or Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.

For those who wish, you can watch a recording of the celebration of life and the video tribute that appears at the end by selecting the 'Photos & Videos' tab and the top of the page, scroll down and select 'Watch Webcast'.
