Born in Rezekne Latvia, Len took on a whole new world when he moved to Canada on May 28, 1950. He started a wonderful life with his wife Terry (1932-2010) and their four children: Guy (Terry), Vija (Mitch), Lilija, and Paul (Susan), and their grandchildren: Trista, Katiana, Matthew and Lynette (Troy). Len’s other passions were spending time at his cabin, caring for his gardens, instructing at the YMCA and volunteering at the Food Bank.
Known by many, loved by all
And greatly missed.
In keeping with Len?s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Len to the Holy Cross Parish (Re: Food Bank), 252 Dubuc Street, Wpg., MB R2H 1E3 .
