Obituary for Lea Marguerite Sylvestre (Rochon)

Our beloved mom, grandma, great-grandma, and friend, Lea Sylvestre, left this world to rejoin her husband Gabriel and her many cherished loved ones on September 15, 2023.
Lea will be remembered for so many things: she had a joyful sense of humour (she loved to play a good prank!) and was forever cracking her witty jokes; she loved happy hour with her friends at the Colombien; she was an impressive seamstress who took great care and detail in all her creations; she was a wonderful cook and loved to entertain her family and friends; she was well-travelled, having visited Europe multiple times, Mexico, the US, and Canada; she would never refuse a trip to the casino (she loved the slots!); she adored spending time with her family; and she had an extremely strong devotion to God and the Virgin Mary.
Lea was determined to turn 100 years old – and that she did! She was a highly energetic woman with a love for life. She leaves behind her two children: Andrea and Marc; her grandchildren: Regan, Kelly (Huicho), Sean (Brandy), and Chelsea (Jason); and her great grandchildren: Jaxon, Ethan, Diego, Gabriella, Caleb, Brielle, and Alyssa. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered fondly in our hearts.
