In loving memory of a truly remarkable woman, we mourn the loss of Leila Rahil, a kind, loving, generous, and faithful soul who was born in Jerusalem and blessed the world with her presence for 77 meaningful years until she passed to the afterlife peacefully on Sunday, May 28, 2023.
Leila was an extraordinary individual who embodied humility and selflessness. She dedicated her life to being a devoted daughter, sister, and aunt, always putting the needs and happiness of her family and others before her own. She showered her late parents, Albert and Aida, with love, respect and total devotion. Her love knew no bounds, and she tirelessly supported and cared for her sisters, Hiyam, Siham and Reem, nurturing their dreams and offering unwavering encouragement along the way. Her niece, Mary and her family, were also blessed to have Leila in their lives as The Other Grandmother who was always ready to help, support and shower with gifts, both physical and spiritual.
Faith played a central role in Laila’s life. Known for her boundless acts of kindness, Leila was a beacon of generosity in the lives of many. She touched the hearts of countless individuals through her selfless deeds, always going above and beyond to make a positive impact without seeking any recognition or credit. She believed that the joy of giving should be its own reward.
Her gentle nature, warm smile, and genuine concern for others created a lasting impact on everyone she encountered. Whether lending a listening ear, offering a helping hand, or simply being a source of comfort during difficult times.
