Obituary for Kenneth "Ken" Budd
KENNETH (KEN) BUDD
October 30, 1930 ? September 16, 2012
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Ken Budd on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Deer Lodge Centre at the age of 81 years.
Ken was predeceased by his wife, Clarice (nee Kirkness) in 2006, Kimberly Flett in 2004 and his parents, Robert and Francis Heart.
He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Dawn (Robin) Fontaine and their children Cheyenne and Garrett Call; Guy Flett and his children Alyssa and Amy; granddaughter, Dominique (Bobby) Frobisher and their children Kayla and Keegan; grandsons Dylan Watson and Daniel Flett and his children Aliya, Arianna and Aidan. He is also survived by numerous family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
The family would like to express their appreciation and gratitude to the nurses, caregivers and staff at Deer Lodge Centre for all their kindness and compassion given to Ken throughout his stay.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Ken to Ducks Unlimited Canada, Winnipeg Office, 1238 Chevrier Blvd., Winnipeg, Manitoba R3T 1Y3.
In keeping with Ken?s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Friday, September 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street.
