1952 - 2023
After a short illness, Judy passed away early Tuesday October 10th 2023.
Born in Winnipeg May 18th 1952, Judy spent her whole life in Windsor Park. She worked in the same building for over 30 years for K-Mart and then Zellers in Southdale. She formed lifetime friendships with many of the staff and found Ken there as well.
Married to Ken for 44 years she leaves to mourn, her brother Terry and sister Debbie (Jim); stepsons Kevin (Karen), Sean, Marshall (Alhyna). As well as six grandchildren: Tyler (Loren), Chad (Mel), Rebecca (Ryan), Brooke. Also, two great-granddaughters Oaklyn and Olivia, and many nephews and nieces.
Judy was preceded by her parents James and Helen Kendall and her sister Vicki Wonnick.
Judy’s biggest love were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She lived to see and hug them. She was also a big Winnipeg Jets Fan and never missed a chance to cheer them on at a game or on tv.
Cremation has taken place and there will be a family only interment.
Her friends are invited to attend a very casual celebration of life on November 2nd at 2:00 p.m. at E. J. Coutu Funeral Home, 680 Archibald Street.
For those that can, please wear your Winnipeg Jets attire as she will be cheering her team from above.
