Obituary for Judy Cnockaert
JUDY CNOCKAERT
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved sister and aunt Judy on Friday, February 18, 2022.
She is survived by her sisters, Irene, Denise and Jane and brother Ron (Darlene), many nieces, nephews and friends.
Judy was predeceased by her parents, Jerome and Mary, her siblings Maurice, Margaret, Doreen, and several in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Judy, a.k.a. The Foreman, enjoyed family time, with many Sunday afternoon visits with her siblings, and always welcomed her nieces and nephews stopping in to visit as well. She was always available to “help” out when there was a wedding or baby shower, to be organized. She continued to be interested in knowing what was happening with all the family. She spent many hours doing Cryptograms, picture puzzles, and enjoyed scratching tickets to see if she would win, and don’t call her when her favourite shows were on. She enjoyed homemade muffins, soups, and treats that she received. Cheesecake, Ice Cream and Brownies were favourites of hers.
Judy was very thankful for all the people who helped her to live independently.
A special thank you to Dr P.G. Mehta for his many years of caring for Judy, Dr A Leylak and his staff at Cancer Care, for the Winnipeg Fire and Paramedic Service for their care.
A family service and celebration of life will take place at a later date.
