Obituary for Joseph Mike Kaskow

JOSEPH MIKE KASKOW

With heavy hearts we announce that mom lost the one who called her sweetheart for almost 47 years, we lost our dad and Gigi on Thursday, January 15, 2015.

The last words about him are his own:

“I disliked going to funerals, I only went when I had to go, so I don’t want a funeral. My family is aware of my wishes. I have been sick for a while and fought with all my might, I regret this has been hard on my family. Blessed in life besides Linda, my girls, Kerianne (Norm), Robyn and my three treasured grandkids, Hailey, Hannah (Therrien) and Michael MacMartin, I am survived by my mother-in-law, Anne Diduke, brother-in-law, John (Karen), siblings, Eddie, Stella and many nieces nephews and friends.”

– Joseph

In keeping with Joseph’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a come and go reception celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Concordia Village, Village #2, 1115 Molson Street. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire donations in memory of Joseph may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
