Joseph RORY Bodiou was born on December 29, 1965 at St. Boniface Hospital. He passed away peacefully on April 2, 2023 at the same hospital, with his mother by his side.

Rory was predeceased by his grandmother, Margaret Rheault, his Uncle Don Rheault, and his Auntie Tanya. He is survived by his mother, Diane Rheault, his cousin, Dawn Hildebrand & family, his half-sister Emily (Manny) & family, and close friends who were like family, Monique & Regan, and Mark.

Rory worked hard in kitchens all of his life, starting out as a teenager with Hy’s Steak Loft and much later at Canad Inns. He loved music – the louder the better – hanging out with friends, and going out for a nice dinner. He was a very caring and giving person.

Big thank you to the nursing staff at the Health Sciences Centre and St. Boniface Hospital, and to Dr. Asha Kothari for his compassion and care in making sure Rory’s last days were as comfortable as possible.

There will be a celebration of Rory’s life at the Canad Inns, 1824 Pembina Highway, Winnipeg on April 14, 2023 at 2:30 PM.
