Obituary for Jeannine Anna Marie Beaulieu

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeannine Beaulieu on June 28th 2023 at the age of 93. Jeannine was predeceased by her husband Heliodore (Babe) Beaulieu; her parents Raphael and Marie Lauze; brother Denis (wife Liz), (brother-in-law Johnny Lagasse), sister Mariette Chartier, brother Alain. As well as Claude and Doris Lauze earlier this year.

Jeannine is survived by her daughter, Annette Fillion, grandchildren, Nicole Fillion, (Bernie). Grandchildren Ryan and Kathy Fillion, Annette’s foster son, Aaron, great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Leah Fillion. Joanne and Mike Trager, great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jesse and Maya. Also surviving her is her son, Paul and Marlene Beaulieu, grandchildren, Pam and Neil Gauthier, great-grandchildren Caitlind and Keenan, Kim and Pat Willett, great-grandchildren, William, Jaedyn, Chloe, and their angel Justice. Grandchildren, Jeff Beaulieu (Monique), great-grandchild, Peyton. As well as by her son, Rene and Gisele Beaulieu, grandchild, David Beaulieu, great-grandchildren, Anabelle and Lexie. Grandchildren Miguel and Jeanine Sevald-Beaulieu, great-grandchildren, Xavier and Felix.

Jeannine was born between St. Joseph and La Broquerie, section #1 and #2.

Mom and Dad met at a church card party and were married on June 4th 1949. Mom worked at home and housed borders for eight years. She then worked at the Red Lantern Steak House as a hostess for a few years. After which she got a job at St. Boniface Hospital cafeteria in catering and retired at the age of 64.

Mom and Dad took many trips to Hawaii which they really enjoyed a lot as well as, trips to Jamaica and Mexico.

In keeping with Mom’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street.
