Obituary for Jeanne Pilon

JEANNE PILON

June 24, 1920 ? January 20, 2013

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Jeanne Pilon at the age of 92 years.

Jeanne was predeceased by her loving husband, Ed, parents, Zotique and Georgette, son, Raymond and numerous brothers and sisters. Jeanne will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Doris Rieu, son, Ed, granddaughters, Charlene, Tammy, Robin, Michelle, Lisa and Tracy, seven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandsons as well as extended family and friends.

Jeanne was a very hard worker, putting the best of herself into everything she did. She enjoyed many crafts, but, knitting most of all with many family members owning sweaters, afghans, you name it she knitted it. Jeanne was always willing to help those in need and lend a hand where she could. She touched the lives of those she met and will never be forgotten. Family was the most important to her, she was full of love and laughter and we will remember her with a smile on our face as well as, in our hearts.

In keeping with Jeanne?s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jeanne may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
