Jeannette passed away quietly and peacefully at the age of 84 years, on Friday, October 5, 2012, at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg.

Jeannette lived a full and fruitful life, delighting in many pleasures including: baking, bingo, making chocolate bars with her grandchildren and peeling new potatoes while enjoying the company of her beloved husband Roland of 63 years. Mom was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. Her witty sense of humor, class, and dignity made her one of a kind and will be truly missed by all those who loved and cared for her.

Jeannette is survived by: her husband, Roland, sister, Therèse, daughters, Ginette (Richard), Gisèle (Raymond) sons, Jean (Georgina), Guy, Richard (Lois) Jacques (Charlene) grandchildren, Ashley (Derek), Venessa (Warren), Leanne, Kristi and Tasha (Colin) Crystal, and great-grandchildren, Noah, Syliss, Renée, Kensi, Ivan and Amelia.

The family wishes to express a sincere thank you to the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital for the care and compassion that was shown during this difficult time. A heartfelt thanks is extended to Eddie for the support in the last few weeks.

In keeping with Jeanette?s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, October 12, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street.
