Janet Perrick
May 7, 1932 – November 28, 2020
The family of Janet Perrick is devastated to announce her sudden passing from Covid-19 on November 28, 2020. She will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by her family.
Janet is survived by her daughter Beverley, son-in-law Jack, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Janet was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Bessie Fedorchuk; husband Peter, and son Peter Jr., whom she missed dearly.
Janet was raised in a large family on a farm in Saskatchewan. Over the years, she mourned as several of her siblings passed on. She is also survived by four brothers, three sisters, in-laws and many nieces and nephews.
Janet was a kind and caring person. She was very creative and loved sewing, country music, horses, hosting Boxing Day parties and trips to the farm to visit her brothers and sisters. Janet and her husband Peter lived in Transcona for many years and their door was always open to family and friends. In recent years, she looked forward to Bev’s daily visits and her granddaughter Miranda’s evening phone calls.
Our family thanks Dr. Alon Altman at CancerCare Manitoba for his gracious and unwavering support of Janet’s will to continue treatment. Her strength and tenacity never faltered. We also thank the staff at Park Manor Care.
A private service will be held before she is laid to rest beside her son and her husband at Transcona Cemetery.
Mom:
My last goodbye to you was through a pane of glass,
But know in my heart I was holding you.
Love you.
