Obituary for Janet Elizabeth Hepburn

JANET ELIZABETH HEPBURN

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Janet Hepburn on Sunday, January 6th, 2013 at the Health Sciences Centre.

Janet is survived by her beloved sister, Mary Stewart of Winnipeg and brother, Miller Hepburn of Ancaster, Ontario and was a cherished Aunt, Grandaunt and Great-Grandaunt. Janet was born on June 29th 1931 in Kitchener, Ontario and came to Winnipeg when she was eight years old. The majority of her working career was spent at Olivetti Underwood until her retirement. She had a real talent for both painting and crafts. Janet had a special place in her heart for children and was always very generous with her talents and gifts for them. She had a great sense of humour and always enjoyed a good laugh. Janet will be greatly missed.

Cremation has taken place and memorial service celebrating her life will be held at a future date in Winnipeg. Donations in her memory could go to a children?s charity of one?s choice. Online condolences may be made at www.ejcoutu.com.
