Obituary for James Edward "Jim" Dreher
JAMES (JIM) EDWARD DREHER
It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of James Dreher on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at the age of 59 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Victoria; daughter, Jamie (Colin), son, Jason (Lindsey) and grandchildren Madison and Jacob and daughter, Janine and their extended family; brothers, Brent (Rhonda), Wayne, Kyle and Shaun; mother-in-law, Lena, extended family: Cheryl, Barry and their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Allen (Danielle), Roy (Sandy) and their sons, Jr. and Kevin, he coached Kevin in hockey and was so proud of him, James was his number one fan, Denise and her children, Adam and Alex and brother-in-law, Jim; as well as, many other family members and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Anita Dreher and Mitchel Tomack.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Victoria General Hospital especially, Dr. Penner and Nurse Irena for all the care and compassion that was shown to our family and to James during his stay. Words cannot express how thankful we are to ?Lorikins? for her love and support during this difficult time.
James worked at CG Powers Systems Canada Inc. where he built and cherished the friendships he had with Randy, Lorenzo and many other dear co-workers. He had a great sense of humour and touched the lives of those he met deeply and was touched by the relationships he built including those with Sandra, René, Brian and Michael ?Inspector Clouseau?.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of James may be made to the Siloam Mission. In keeping with James? wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street.
