Obituary for Jacqueline Marie Paulhus
JACQUELINE PAULHUS
It is with great sadness that the family of Jacqueline Paulhus announce her passing on February 1, 2023 at the age of 91 at St. Boniface Hospital.
She will be missed by her siblings: Nathalie, Edouard (Therese), Therese, Robert (Myrna), Raymond (Monique) and Lucille. She was predeceased by Madeleine, Laurence and Hubert. She will also be missed by numerous nephews and nieces.
Jacqueline had a dedicated life teaching in Africa as a missionary until she retired. In 1994 she moved back to Winnipeg and lived in an apartment in St. Boniface. Some of her favourite pastimes were reading, shopping, walking, exploring the city and the beauty of nature until mobility became an issue. She also loved spending time with family when it was possible. She recently moved to Residence Despins in supportive housing. She was very happy there and loved the staff.
We would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Residence Despins for taking such good care of her even though it was for such a short time. Also thank you to doctors and staff at St. Boniface Hospital Emergency for taking such good care of her during her short admission.
Jacqueline has chosen to have a graveside service which will be held at a later date.
