Obituary for Irene Mary Cole

Irene Mary Cole

(nee Pelepiak)

August 8, 1954 ? August 20, 2013

Peacefully while she slept Irene passed away.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 38 years Danny, her sons Nathan, DJ, and Perry, her daughters-in-law Jamie and Chelsea, and her grandsons Ethan and Caleb. Irene was predeceased by her parents Nick and Francis Pelepiak, her brother-in-law Charlie, and her sister-in-law Linda. She will also lovingly be remembered by her in-laws Robert and Denise, Pearl, Alan, Wayne, Sandra, Ian, and Debbie, her cousins Jackie, and Mike, and their daughters Donna and Corrie, and many nieces and nephews.

Irene was born and raised in St. Boniface, and lived her married life in the area as well. Irene?s first love was her family. She took great pride in the accomplishments of her husband and children. She lived her life through them. She was an avid sports mom, and followed her children through hockey, gymnastics, and rugby. She took great pride in whatever her boys were doing and adopted many of their friends as children of her own; you were all very special to her.

In keeping with Irene?s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial mass celebrating her life will be held on Friday, August 30, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, 252 Dubuc Street. Interment will follow at Belgian Heart Sacred Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Irene?s name to the Children?s Hospital Foundation.
