Obituary for Horace Ross

HORACE ROSS


With deep sadness, our family announces the peaceful passing of Horace Ross at the age of 95 years on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Taché Nursing Centre.


Horaces?s memory will be cherished by his children: Gerald (Lorraine), Paulette, Simone, Ulysse (Debbie), Randy (Nicole), Brian (Jackie) and son-in law Fred. He will also be missed by his brother Roland (Marie-Rose), sister Gloria (Johnny) LaJoie, 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.


Horace was predeceased by his parents Philip and Anaise, his wife Dorothy, daughter Jo-Ann, sons-in-law Raymond and Eddy, grandson Jeromie and siblings: Achille, Alex, Edward, Rene, Germaine and Simone.


Horace was a Second World War veteran and worked for many years at Supercrete/La Farge. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved a good game of cards.


Our family would like to thank the staff on 4-ABC at Taché Nursing Centre for their care and compassion.


In keeping with Horace?s wishes, cremation has taken place and a funeral service celebrating his life will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street.
