Gilles Dufault
Gilles Dufault passed away suddenly on November 3, 2020 with his sister Monique by his side. He is survived by his siblings Marc, Colette (Richard), Monique, Lorraine (Robert), Francois, Robert, Roger (Caroline), aunt Jeannine and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Claude and Marcelle, and his sister Claire.
Gilles lived a quiet and simple life. He did not need many possessions to be the kind, gentle and generous soul to everyone he knew. With little to share, he shared everything he had with family, friends and those who had less. Gilles would not turn away any person in need of a friend, a warm meal or a safe place. His life is remembered not for what he owned, but for who he was. Without many words, his open hand and open door would say to all that you are welcome.
We will never forget his smile and unforgettable laughter that always announced his presence.
The family will hold a private service in accordance with precautions. Instead of flowers and cards, Gilles would be thankful for donations to Siloam Mission or the Christmas Cheer Board.
We miss our brother, brother-in-law and uncle.
