Obituary for Gilbert Roger Daigneault
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gilbert Daigneault on February 28, 2023, at the age of 67. Cremation has taken place, and a graveside service will be held on Thursday March 9, 2023 at 2:00 p.m., at the Belgium Sacred Heart Cemetery, 501 Plinguet St. Winnipeg, Manitoba R2J 0E8.
Gilbert was predeceased by his parents Armand and Doralice, as well as his brothers Wilfrid and Raymond. Left to mourn are his brothers and sisters Ed (Dana); Val; Jan; Art (Irene); Louis (Julie); Gisele; Marcel (Velma); Mona; Francois (Sandra); Cecile (Lionel); along with many nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to Home Instead, and the Care Pro who took care of Gilbert for numerous years.
Anyone who knew Gilbert knew he was a great person, with a very loving heart. He was well known for his jokes and loved to play pranks on people.
After the graveside service please join the family for refreshments at Eddy’s Place Restaurant located at 669 Selkirk Avenue (corner of Selkirk Avenue and McKenzie Street).
He will be dearly missed.
