Garry Wayne Rapinchuk
April 13th, 1953 - November 15th, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Garry Wayne Rapinchuk. Garry passed peacefully in his sleep on November 15th at Poseidon Care Home. Garry is survived by his daughters Sammi and Corrie, granddaughter Reimi, dog Dolly, stepmother, 5 siblings and numerous nieces and nephews and In-laws. He was predeceased by his loving wife Dolores and dog Cody.
Garry loved to joke and poke fun even when he struggled with his cancer, he would always find a way to make everyone smile. He loved to fish and hunt with his friends Terry and Al. He worked hard for his family as a millwright at Kitchen Craft for 25 years before retiring in 2017. He loved to teach people new things and express his joy about his family and friends.
The Family wishes to give special thanks to Terry Leitch for all the help and support he has given to Garry and his family and the staff on the Hospice floor at St Boniface Hospital for the care he received when in their care.
In keeping with Garry's wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 1pm on Saturday December 11, 2021, with reception to follow, at E J Coutu Funeral Home. Due to covid restrictions the memorial service will be by invitation only. Donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. Flowers may be sent to E J Coutu Funeral Home.
