Obituary for Frank Edward "Francis" Petry

Frank (Francis) Edward Petry

January 18, 1935 ? November 12, 2012


With deep sadness we announce the passing of a husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 54 years, Rose; four sons: Cory (Bev); Darryl (Kari); Shane (Kate); Kevin (Orphelia) and one daughter, Jacqueline (Rui) DaSilva, as well as numerous family members and friends.


Frank had a distinguished 29 year military career of which he was very proud. He loved the outdoors and spent much of his free time fishing and hunting.


Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service celebrating Frank?s life will be held at the Beautiful Saviour Lutheran Church, 1541 St. Mary?s Rd. at 11:00 am on Friday, November 16, 2012 followed by a gathering and luncheon for family and friends in the church hall.


In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba
