It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden passing of Florence Verrier on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the age of 70 years.
Florence was born on February 14, 1942 to George and Alice Delorme in Richer, Manitoba. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Annette, brother, Bill, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Florence was predeceased by her parents, brother, Armand, sister Jeannie and niece, Cheryl.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to all of the staff at St. Boniface Hospital who showed such compassion and care to Florence during her stay.
In keeping with Florence?s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street with a reception to follow.
God saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb,
